Under the Tenancy Deposit Scheme, we will ensure appropriate protection of any deposit paid by a tenant and complete all necessary works in connection with same.
At the end of each tenancy we will also take control of returning deposits. We aim to have all deposits matters completed within 1 month of expiration of the tenancy. Our in-depth inspections help us to determine deposit deductions, if any, to ensure that your property is returned to us to a suitable standard and minimise any extra expense to our landlords.
We complete inspections at regular intervals throughout each tenancy. This gives us the ability to monitor progress of the tenancy and will highlight any issues, that need addressed. These frequent inspections are vital when it comes to deposit returns. Where we feel cause for concern we will endeavour to complete more frequent inspections.
Each managed property avails of a free move in, mid-tenancy and move out inspection. Property Inspections may be upgraded, where requested.
We recognise that daily life can be stressful enough without the added burden of property repairs. All tenants receive detailed instructions on how to report a repair in their property.
All branches have devoted and dedicated Property Managers, whose role is to keep you informed of all repairs and have same completed in the quickest and most cost-effective manner, with minimal disruption to landlord and tenant.
All tenants and landlords will have access to our 24 Hour Emergency helpline. This helps eradicate any severe repairs becoming disastrous. We have a team off on-hand contractors to attend to any emergency repair.
As a Property People landlord you will gain exclusive access to our property management software. This will allow you to view repair issues, rental statements and general information regarding your property let.
Each branch has its own in-house dedicated Finance Officer. They focus daily on rent collection, production of rental statements and arrears management. All Finance Officers are experienced in their role and are determined in minimising any arrears with a "zero-tolerance" attitude. Officers are trained to recognise when some leniency may be required in extenuating circumstances and are there to keep you updated each step of the way.
